General Questions

Play therapy is a form of therapy that uses play to help children express their feelings, explore relationships, learn new skills and make sense of the world around us. It is particularly effective for children because they may find it difficult to articulate their thoughts and emotions through words alone.
Practical Questions
Sessions typically last 50 minutes. Your child will have access to a variety of toys and activities in a safe and comfortable environment. The therapist may join in the play and guide the session to help address specific issues.
Parents & Caregivers are integral to the play therapy process and are often involved. We also work with parents to support parent coaching and growing skills and understanding of the child.
